Coast Guard Responds To Distressed Boaters Off Ocean City, MD

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Coast Guard units are responding to a vessel that sank 46 miles east of Ocean City. There were reportedly 9 passengers aboard the 38-foot vessel. They called the Coast Guard by radio around 10:30 AM Saturday, telling them that they were taking on water. The Coast Guard coordinated the pick-up of all nine people with two "good samaritan vessels" in the area. They say several people were showing signs of medical distress.
