HARRINGTON, Del. - Thursday was not just senior's day, also governor's day at the Delaware State Fair. Governor Jack Markell got here at 10 AM this morning and by now he has seen just about everything the fair has to offer.
Markell and other state leaders honored several locals, most of them kids, for their efforts to better the environment. Markell says "I love there awards that recognize people throughout our community, who are doing great work. They're not doing it for the recognition, they're doing it because they believe in it. I think we have folks of all ages here in the states, who know how important it is to protect our environment."
