Dewey Beach Town Manager Resigns

DEWEY BEACH, Del. - Dewey Beach Town manager has announced his resignation. This after the town was found in violation of more than a dozen council meetings.

Bob Stickels signed an 18-month contract, less than four months ago. Stickels said his resignation was for personal reasons and was effective immediately.

Dewey Beach, Mayor, Diane Hanson says "the chief of police will be the acting Town Manager, at least until the council can get together and decide what to do." Mayor Hanson says that with noticing requirements the council will not be able to collectively discuss this matter for at least another 7 days.
