Two Arrested On Drug Charges In A School Zone

EASTON, Md. - Two men have been arrested after police allegedly found drugs in their vehicle. Easton Police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Easton Middle School for a traffic violation, during the stop they say they smelled suspected marijuana, which caused them to search the vehicle.

During the search police say they found what they believed to be marijuana and paraphernalia on both the driver, Thomas Navis, 20, of Ingleside, Maryland and the passenger, Hashim McAdoo, 22, of Easton.

Navis has been charged with possession with intent to distribute, along with other related offences. Navis was also cited for exceeding the maximum posted speed limit, driving while impaired by drugs and or alcohol, and other related charges. He is being held at the Talbot County Detention Center on $25,000.

McAdoo was charged with Possession of Marijuana, and is being held on $3,000 bond.
