Police Looking For Dover Home Invasion Suspect

DOVER, Del. - A man is wanted by police after he allegedly barged into a Dover woman's home after she answered the door. Delaware State Police say that a little before 9 PM on Thursday, a man knocked on the door of 26-year-old woman's Coverly Court home.

They say that as the woman opened the door, the suspect pushed his way inside, pushed the victim to the floor and physically assaulted her. The suspect then allegedly attempted to sexually assault the victim, but stopped, and fled.

The suspect is described as a 30-34 year old, 6' 2" tall, black male, weighting around 205 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, and had a bandana covering his face. Nothing was taken during the attack. The woman was injured, but refused medical treatment.
