SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man is behind bars after allegedly stealing a scooter. Salisbury Police started an investigation after they responded to a call for an alleged robbery.
The two victims told police that they were riding a scooter down College Avenue, near Roger Street, when a group of three people stopped them, pushed over the scooter, punched them, and took their belongings, including the scooter.
The police investigation lead to the arrest of Lahmar Conner, 19, who has been charged with 2 counts of robbery, 2nd degree assault, theft less than $1,000 and other related charges. He was released to Central Booking.
The investigation into this incident is still on going, and information on the other two suspects is limited.
