SALISBURY, Md. - A Mardela Springs man has been arrested after police reportedly found drugs during a stop. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says that a deputy stopped a car driven by Craig Gibson, 52, for a stop sign violation.

The deputy had Gibson out of the vehicle when the deputy became suspicious of something in his pocket. Police say Gibson tried to get rid of the CDS smoking device without the deputy noticing, but the deputy did and got the device, along with a small amount of crack cocaine.

Gibson is charged with possession of crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and is being held at the Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
