VA Schools Looking For Ways To Track Student Progress

VIRGINIA - New plans are in play in Virginia, after the state was granted the waiver from the No Child Left Behind Act. Educators must set new targets for academic achievement, teacher effectiveness, and increased performance for low-performing schools. They must also prepare students for college and their careers. Officials say they first need to develop ways to track student progress.
