Child Abuse Charges For Two In Wicomico County

WICOMICO CO., Md. - Two people have been arrested after allegedly abusing two children in their care. The Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center says that Kendal Hazel, 34, and Kristen Hazel, 31, were both arrested on June 26th after the center allegedly received reports that they physically abused two children in their care and custody.

Both have been charged with 2nd degree child abuse, reckless endangerment and neglect of a minor. Kendal was additionally charged with 1st degree child abuse and 2nd degree assault. Both have been released on bond, and have been ordered to have no contact with the victims.
