OCEAN CITY, Md. - A man is behind bars after receiving more than 60 traffic citations in a single night. Ocean City Police report that officers on patrol noticed a truck, driving on its rims, that matched descriptions that were coming in from calls about several traffic collisions in the area.
Police pulled the truck over, the driver, Michael Hall, 43, of Greenwood, Delaware, reportedly admitted to police that he had been drinking. They also say that during conversation Hall said he would "kill" and "snipe" police. During an investigation, officers found a rifle, binoculars, a spotting scope, and several knives. That investigation also showed that Hall was wanted in Delaware.
Hall was arrested, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, and negligent driving. He was also issued over 60 traffic citations, including failing to stop after an accident, reckless driving, and speeding. Hall is being held on $25,000 bond.
