LAUREL, Del. - A Wednesday morning crash is still under investigation. Delaware State Police say that around 8:45 AM, Glenn Bradley, 51, of Salisbury, was riding a moped Westbound on Woodland Ferry Road, and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Bethel Road, and rode right into the path of a pick-up truck, driven by Lindsey Todd, 32, of Laurel.
Bradley, who was not wearing a helmet, and his helmeted passenger, Terrance Salter, were both thrown from the moped. Bradley was removed from the scene by EMS, and is now listed in critical condition at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Salter was flown by helicopter to Christiana Hospital and is now listed in serious condition. Todd and passenger, her 5-year-old son, were both properly restrained and weren't injured in the crash.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Both roads were closed for more than two hours, but has since reopened.
