Pedestrian In Critical Condition After Camden Crash

CAMDEN, Del. - Police are still investigating a serious crash involving a pedestrian and a car. According to Delaware State Police, Beverly Fletcher was driving Northbound on South DuPont Highway, around 12:20 AM on Tuesday, when Andrew Gilman,crossed the road, into her vehicle's path.

Both involved were removed from the scene by EMS. Fletcher was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. Gilman is currently listed in critical condition at Christiana Hospital. Police say he was wearing dark clothing, and not carrying a light.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is still investigating the crash. South DuPont Highway traffic was effected for two hours, but has since been reopened.
