Alleged Would Be Burglar Caught In The Act

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - A man is behind bars after neighbors allegedly heard him breaking into a house. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office reports that they got a call about the sound of broken glass on Wyman Drive, in Salisbury.

When they were on their way there they say they saw Samuel Curtis, 49, of Crisfield, who matched the description given during the call. Police stopped Curtis, who had a crowbar on him, that matched the pry marks at the home.

Curtis was arrested, charged with attempted 1st degree burglary, and held at the Detention Center on $40,000 bond.
