Wicomico County iBelong Summer Campaign

SALISBURY, Md. - The Wicomico County Public library kicked off its iBelong library campaign. Library officials unveiled poster's in the lobby, with a familiar face. WMDT's Marquis Lupton was in attendance with County Executive Rick Pollitt, as they premiered their new posters with one of them including Marquis. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of the public library in Wicomico County. 

Rick Pollitt, the Wicomico County Executive says, "It doesn't matter who you are, where you live, or where your station is, the library is an access. It's a portal to anything in the world. You're limited only by your imagination and its free."

Andrea Berstler, Director of the Wicomico County Public Library, says "A library is defined by its community, it's here and exists to serve the community, and by having individuals who represent those different aspects of the community demonstrates their support by being involved."

The Wicomico Public library is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am until 5pm, and Tuesday's, and Thursday's 12 PM until 8 PM.
