Foul Weather Shelter At Chincoteague

CHINCOTEAGUE, Va. - Bicyclists at one local park now have a place to take cover from the elements. Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge has taken a suggestion from visitors and has built a foul weather shelter for bikers and pedestrians to use during inclement weather.

The 32' x 12' aluminum shelter is at the end of Beach Road near the parking lots and has room for around 40 people. For more information on Assateague Island National Seashore, visit their website. www.nps.gov/asis
