OCEAN CITY, Md. -- It's a sight that screams Ocean City, and now Ocean Gallery is the first place in the beach town to attract the attention of reality show producers.
Last week producers flew out to the hot spot to get things rolling on a new reality show.
"Well we're working on 2 pilots one of them is to be working on the bat mobile the other one is to build elves out of wood that light up and move to put on the side of the building," owner Joe Kro-Art tells us.
After traveling to Ocean city reality show producers say that the ocean gallery is a memory that will last in their minds forever. Beach Goers we spoke to agree.
"It is very extravagant and very eye catching," one beachgoer tells us.
"I think so yeah absolutely it's something we can take these paintings and pictures home and its always going to remind us of Ocean City," another adds.
But don't worry, owners tell us this will not be another Jersey Shore.
"I want it to be done well but I also want it to be funny innovative creative and I want people to respect it because we're not going to do anything that offends anybody," Kro-Art says.
Right now a show on the History Channel is in the works to feature Ocean Gallery. It's a documentary on Visionary Arts in America, and how the boardwalk shop has been able to implement it for almost half a century.
