Woman Gives New Meaning To Drive-Thru Bank

MILFORD, Del. - A woman has been cited for careless driving after driving into a building.

Milford Police report that Patricia Venett, 69, of Milford, accidentally pressed the gas instead of the break petal while parking at the bank. They say this caused her to drive through the front entrance of the PNC bank on N. Dupont Blvd.

No one in the bank, nor the operator were hurt. No drugs or alcohol are suspected in the crash. Venett was cited for careless driving.
