Troopers Investigate Crash Near Bridgeville

BRIDGEVILLE, Del - The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a crash that occurred earlier Tuesday evening sending four people to the hospital.

The incident occurred at 6:43PM at the intersection of Progress School Road and Dublin Hill Road. Howard A. McIntire was operating a pick up truck traveling on Progress School Road approaching the intersection.  McIntire failed to stop at the stop sign and continued northbound as Sabrina A. Fletcher struck the driver's side of the pick up. 

McIntire was removed from the scene by EMS and transported to the hospital where he is admitted in critical condition.

Fletcher was removed from the scene along with her two grandchildren and transported by EMS to the hospital where they were treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries.  She was cited with Improper Child Restraints.

The investigation into the crash is continuing and charges are pending.
