MILFORD, Del. - A man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing someone. According to Milford Police Samuel Gonzalez, 46, of Milford, confronted a 23-year-old male, and his 3-year-old son in front of their residence.
Police say that the two men were arguing about money, when Gonzalez pulled out a knife, said he was going to kill the victim, and then stabbed him in the stomach. He then allegedly went into the victim's pockets and took his cash, all while reportedly still holding the knife in the victims stomach.
The victim was treated for his injuries, and later released. The 3-year-old was not injured. Gonzalez was charged with 1st degree robbery, 2nd degree assault, and other related offences. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on $22,000 bond.
