Body Found In Wicomico River

SALISBURY, Md. - Authorities confirm the body of an adult male was discovered in the Wicomico River near Brew River Restaurant in Salisbury.

A mate on a tugboat discovered the body around 2:15 this afternoon. He describes the body as a middle-aged, adult black male who was wearing slacks and a sleeveless shirt. He says authorities took about 15-20 minutes to pull the body out of the water.

Police arrived at the scene around 2:20 PM and retrieved the body shortly after. Information at this time is still very limited. Stay tuned for the latest.
