Salisbury House Fire Being Investigated

SALISBURY, Md. - An early morning fire is still under investigation in Salisbury. The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office reports that early Monday morning around 2:45 AM, a fire broke out in the front bedroom of a single family, Richmond Avenue home.

It took twenty firefighters, 10 minutes to control, and caused an estimated $20,000 in damages. The home had smoke alarms, but officials say they were not working. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced family.

Anyone with information about to this fire is asked to call the Salisbury Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.
