Energy Secretary Chu Visits Delaware

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Energy Secretary Steven Chu is visiting Delaware State University to check on the school's energy efficiency efforts.

Chu was to join Gov. Jack Markell and members of Delaware congressional delegation on Monday for an update on Delaware State's progress under the National Better Building Challenge, an energy efficiency initiative.

U.S. Sen. Chris Coons says DSU President Harry Williams was 1 of 60 chief executives, mayors and university presidents who committed to invest almost $2 billion of private capital into energy efficiency projects.
