FBI Arrests 24 In International Hacking Sting

WMDT 47 NEWS - FBI agents arrest 24 alleged hackers tied to a credit card theft plan. The bust went down after a two-year undercover operation across 13 countries, called "Operation Card Shop".

The two dozen people stand accused of fraud involving computer crime. Federal officials say the sting operation prevented potential losses of more than 200 million dollars.

Credit card providers were reportedly notified of more than 400,000 compromised credit and debit cards.
