OCEAN CITY, Md. - Three men were charged with drug offences after a traffic stop. Ocean City Police report that they stopped a car for a traffic violation.
Officers say that one of the passengers, Matthew Quinones-Torres, 22, of Lititz, PA, was wanted for a parole violation in Lancaster, PA, so they arrested him. Police say they found marijuana and $296 cash on him after the arrest.
The rest of the car was searched by officers where they say they found, baggies of marijuana, cigars, and a .380 caliber handgun. The other two occupants of the car, Jason Maldonado, 26, of Lancaster, PA, and Davontaye Harrison, 19, of Colombia, PA were then also arrested.
Quinones-Torres was charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and other related offences, and held at Worcester County Jail on $10,000 bond. Maldonado, and
Harrison were both arrested charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and released. Maldonado was additionally charged with possession of a handgun.
