Paul Brown
BALTIOMORE, Md. - A Talbot County man has been sentenced Wednesday after being convicted on child pornography charges. U.S. District Judge William Quarles sentenced Paul Brown, 71, of Easton to 262 months, or 21 years, in prison for sexually exploiting a minor to produce child pornography. When Brown is released he will be supervised for the rest of his life, and have to register as a sex offender forever.
Police say that two young girls, both under the age of 10, reported to police that they had been sexually abused by Brown, repeatedly over the course of several months, including being forced to give him oral sex. Brown denied the allegations to officers. Police executed a search warrant on Brown's home, where they found a digital camera with nude pictures of the girls and himself on it. They say they also found videos of child pornography during the search.
Officials encourage the public to report suspected child predators and any suspicious activity through its toll-free hotline at 1-866-DHS-2ICE or its online tip form at Homeland Security Investigations' website. Both are staffed around the clock by investigators.
