FAA Investigating Plane Crash In Hurlock, MD

HURLOCK, Md. - The FAA is now investigating an airplane crash in Hurlock, Maryland.

Maryland State Police tell us 44-year-old Matthew Sommer of Whiteford, was flying a single engine plan, when it apparently nose dived just as he was approaching the air strip at Williamsburg Church Road.

According to witness accounts this happened just around noon today.

Emergency crews flew Sommer to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.  No word yet on the extent of his injuries.
