WMDT 47 NEWS - "I've always wanted to play professional baseball, but the ultimate goal is to get into Baltimore and a couple of world series up there," says Connor Narron, Delmarva Shorebird Utility Player.

Delmarva Shorebird Connor Narron may have high goals and aspirations similar to other players, but his versatility of playing first and third base along with the outfield may increase his chances of fulfilling those dreams.

"Just the fact that I can play multiple positions, that's a big part of what I do, I'm a switch hitter also," says Narron.

"I've got a daily routine where I do hitting drills and infield drills and outfield drills," says Narron.

Narron's debut in professional ball means his family blood line has now extended for three generations between the lines.

"My grandpa, he played in the minor leagues and my dad he's still in the big leagues now going on 20 years and my other cousin Sam is coaching."

His father Jerry played eight years in the major leagues and is now a coach with the Milwaukee Brewers.

So does Connor feel any added pressure to make it to the big leagues?

"I don't think its any pressure, its a blessing more than anything grow up in a big league clubhouse and see how everyone goes about their business."
