Free Heat Relief In Kent County

KENT CO., Del. - One Delaware county is informing residents where they can cool down, for free. Kent County is offering residents to head to their local library to get away from the heat. Three Kent County libraries are all air conditioned, and can all be enjoyed free of charge.

  1. The Smyrna Public Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:30 AM until 6 PM and Tuesday/Thursday 10 AM - 8 PM.
  2. The Kent County Public Library is open , Monday through Friday 9 AM - 8 PM and Saturday/Sunday 1 - 5 PM.
  3. The Harrington Public Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10 AM until 6 PM, Tuesday/Thursday 11:30 AM - 8 PM, and Saturday 10 AM - 2 PM.
