Argument Lands One Man In Jail

SALISBURY, Md. - A Parsonsburg man is behind bars after allegedly assaulting a woman.

According to Salisbury Police, Fred Woody Jr., 40, and a woman were having a verbal argument, it escalated and Woody punched the victim in the face. They say that she then fell to the ground, where Woody continued to assault her by kicking her several times.

The victim was brought to the ER by EMS for her injuries. Woody has been charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault, and other related offences, and is being held on $50,000 bond.
