Ava Del Ricco Charity Golf Tournament

BERLIN, Md. - The big fundraiser weekend for Baby Ava Del Ricco is in full swing in Ocean City.

Saturday afternoon, the big event, was the charity golf tournament at the River Run Golf Club in Berlin.

The fundraiser kicked off at 1:30pm, and the money raised all goes to benefit the Del Ricco family, and Baby Ava, who was critically injured in a car crash this past December. Her dad, George Del Ricco, was there for the event, and he tells WMDT, "It gives me strength to know we have a while city behind us and people have been coming out. It's just tremendous, it's been awesome!"

We're told a total of 22 teams of 4 players registered for this event.
