MSP Investigates Death Of Delaware Woman

WORCESTER CO., Md. - The search for a missing Delaware woman takes a dark turn, after Maryland State police discover her body dumped in an embankment off a dirt road in Worcester County early Friday morning.

Police received an emergency call about a body found in the remote area of Swamp road, just east of Nelson road.

The victim is identified as 35-year-old Nicole Bennett, of Millsboro, Delaware. Her husband reported Bennett missing Friday morning, after she did not come home from work the night before.

Although this is being called a murder, the cause of death has yet to be determined. Bennett's body is now in Baltimore at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, awaiting autopsy.

A monetary reward is being offered in case. Just call the Worcester County Lower Eastern Shore Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776, if you may have any information which may lead to an arrest.
