Billy A. McGinnis - WMDT 47 News - Delmarva's Choice

MARDELA SPRINGS, Md. - Billy A. McGinnis, 82, of Mardela Springs died on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 15, 1929 to the late George and Mabel Greer McGinnis.
Billy served 21 years in the United States Air Force. During his enlistment he served in the Korean War and Vietnam. He volunteered more than 4,000 hours at Peninsula Regional Medical Center from 2004 until the time of his death.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Leonila Cee McGinnis, three brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by two sons; Charles R. McGinnis of Mardela Springs and Allan McGinnis of Los Angeles, CA, a daughter; Lola Haber and her husband Barry of Mardela Springs, four grandchildren; Jason, Jacob, Joshua and Doran, one great-grandson; Shayden James, a brother; D. June McGinnis and a sister; Doris Woodward.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804, where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center Foundation, 100 East Carroll Street, Salisbury, MD 21801.
