Plane Crashes Into Marsh In Somerset County

EDEN, Md. - Troopers from the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack responded to a plane accident in the area of Whitehaven Ferry Rd and the Wicomico River, Somerset County, Maryland. Upon their arrival they located the pilot, William Ehinger. The pilot reported that he was flying his Mosquito Air Ultralight helicopter when he started having engine problems. He was forced to make an emergency landing and crashed into a marsh. The pilot was not injured.
