CORDOVA, Md. - A Talbot County mother is desperate to find her son, after he vanished 10 months ago.
"I go to sleep and I dream about him, and I wake up and have to face it all over again," said Dorian's mother, Sarah Johnson.
16-year-old Dorian Singletary left his grandmother's Cordova home late last August with the clothes on his back and his phone. He disappeared into the woods nearby, and two days later police lost all signals from his cell phone.
"He is a typical teenager, we argued all the time. He would take off and stay with friends and we would have to hunt him down but we always knew where he was," said his mother.
"Extremely unusual, almost a year later he hasn't made any contact with his parents or family at all," said Lieutenant John Bollinger of the Talbot County Sheriff's Office.
He says they've searched everywhere for Dorian, tried to track him down through databases, and have been keeping tabs on his Facebook page. He says the page has had little to no activity, but still it's something anyone could have access to.
"There is a strong possibility he is deceased at this point," said Lt. Bollinger.
Police say if Dorian is alive and afraid to come home, they want him to know he isn't in any trouble and they won't stop looking. The family is desperate to bring him home.
"Just come home we miss you so much," said Dorian's godmother, Katie Lynch.
"I miss you Dor Dor," said his 8-year-old sister, Trinity.
