BERLIN, Md. - Three men have been arrested after allegedly trying to flee from police. Maryland State Police report that they attempted to pull over a dark green BMW after it was clocked going 72mph in a 55 zone. Police say that instead of slowing down, the car sped up to 113mph to try and get away from them.

They say they were able to locate the car a few minutes later at Food Lion in Berlin. An investigation led to finding two of the vehicles occupants in that shopping center, and one in the woods behind it. Police say they are still looking for a fourth occupant who is described as a white male, wearing a black shirt with white writing, and red tennis shoes. Police report that they found 12 ounces of marijuana, a digital scale, and small baggies in the truck of the BMW.

The three arrested are Martin Santelices, 21,of Laurel, Brandon Fitzpatrick, 19, of Columbia, and Maxwell Fashola, 19, of Columbia. All three were charged with controlled dangerous substance distribution, CDS possession and CDS paraphernalia. Santelices was also charged with DUI, fleeing and eluding, and reckless driving. All three are being held on $5,000 bond.
