DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware's congressional delegation is hosting a free grant fair and workshop to help connect businesses, local governments and nonprofit organizations with potential funding sources. Sens. Tom Carper and Chris Coons, and Rep. John Carney are hosting the gathering Monday at the MLK Student Center at Delaware State University.
More than 20 funders from state and federal governments, private foundations, and non-profit agencies will be represented. They include several federal cabinet agencies, the Delaware Community Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, Boeing, Discover and Wells Fargo. Workshops will focus on grant writing, the grant evaluation process, and best practices for securing funding.
