Nomination: "As a teacher in a classroom of young special needs children - you must have a special gift. This year, my son's teacher is one of those special gifts! She is a first year teacher who has truly found her calling. My son has drastically improved his communication, ability to participate in the classroom and love of school this year thanks to his teacher Ms Ryan Freas. He goes to school every day with his service dog. Ms Freas has jumped in and created a nurturing, educational and safe environment for an entire classroom of special needs children. Her compassion and thought for the well being of our children reaches well beyond the classroom. SHe has been known to have many a conversation after school or on a weekend just to get things right for our children. She is amazing!"
