GREENWOOD, Del. - Police have made an arrest in the case that shook up a local town last week. Greenwood Police report that they have arrested Michael P. Emory, 32, of Greenwood in connection with the double murder on Liden School Road. Police say that neighbors had called after the couple, Harvey and Carolyn Cashwell, hadn't been seen or heard from in a few days.

Troopers say when they attempted to make contact, and got no response, they entered the home and found the couple deceased. Police say they took Emory into custody after he allegedly pawned a ring belonging to one of the victims. A police investigation showed that Emory was evicted from a home that he rented from the Cashwells.

Emory has been charged with two counts 1st degree murder, and multiple other related charges, and is being held at the Sussex County Correctional Institution without bail.
