Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - A man has been arrested after driving under the influence on a suspended licence. Easton Police Department reports that an officer stopped a Honda, driven by James Dorman II, 22, of New Castle Delaware, for driving over the speed limit. The officer says that Dorman jumped from the drivers seat to the backseat when they approached the vehicle. Police report that the officer removed Dorman from the car, and ran a check on him.

They say the check revealed that there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Dorchester County, and that his driving privileges had been suspended. Police also say that Dorman was intoxicated. Dorman was charged with driving without a licence, driving under the influence of alcohol, and other related charges. Dorman was also served on his outstanding warrant.
