Man robs Rehoboth Beach Econolodge

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Authorities in Delaware are investigating a robbery that happened at a Rehoboth Beach motel.

The Delaware State Police reports the robbery happened at approximately 4:15 a.m. Saturday when a male suspect entered the Econolodge on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach. The man confronted a female clerk located, implied he had a weapon and forced his way behind the counter.

The suspect then removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled on foot. The clerk was not injured.
