Nomination: "My son has Asperger's Syndrome. Ashley Mann is a teacher who works with the child and the parent to help him excel and feel better about being "different" than his peers. I have found working together with her a joy and feel she deserves an award for her work with my son and other children. She explains to other students that being different is not something to fear, but encourages the other student in his class to help him cope with things when his sensory issues cause a melt down. Please consider her, as she truly HAS made a difference."
