HURLOCK, Md. - Students and staff at North Dorchester Middle School understand the value reading.
They're participating in the National Education Association's Read Across America program - and they're going the extra mile. Every student in the school has signed a pledge to read for 30 minutes for 30 days. They're also actively writing book reviews and posting them to the card catalog - classes with the most reviews will get a pizza party and one lucky student will get a chance to win a kindle.
