LAUREL, Del. - Eggs were literally falling from the sky Saturday as the Central Worship Center in Laurel hosted an Easter egg drop.
A helicopter flew over the area to dump out over 2000 eggs and an additional 5000 eggs were already on the ground for the Easter egg hunt.
About 400 kids were registered for the event and they all seemed to enjoy it thoroughly. "We loved it and if they ever have it again, we will definitely be back. It was the coolest thing," said Ashley Joseph. "At first I wasn't expecting anything like that so it was a really fun surprise. I do like having Easter egg hunts but I just like being with my family mostly because I come down here for holidays and it's fun to be all together," said Allison Byrne.
Senior Pastor Tim Dukes says the event was a huge success, and he definitely plans on hosting another event next year.
