Laurel Middle School Is In The Zone

LAUREL, Del., - Laurel middle school will be now be considered "in the zone". Launched in 2010, the Delaware Department of Education launched the Partnership Zone. This program is designed to dramatically improve the lowest-achieving schools in the state. By looking at reading and math tests the recipients of the program were chosen. The first state's School Turnaround Unit supports and monitors the Partnership Zone schools.
