BLADES, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man was hurt when the car he was driving hit and then slid under a flatbed trailer near Blades. It happened about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday on Bethel Concord Road. Troopers say a tractor trailer with a flatbed operated by 59-year-old Howard West of Seaford was backing into a driveway and was perpendicular to the road. Police say 31-year-old Marc Morgan of Laurel was driving on the road and did not see the flatbed. Authorities say Morgan's car hit the flatbed and slid under it. He was pinned in his vehicle. Morgan was flown to Christiana Hospital. West was not hurt. The crash is under investigation.
