POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - Mary E. Killmon, 92, of Fairfax Station and formerly of Pocomoke City, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at home. Born June 10, 1919 in Crewe, VA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Felton) Eure and the wife of the late E. Jack Killmon. Mary was employed by the United States Post Office in Pocomoke City for 26 years and was a longtime faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Pocomoke City, where she was a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School class, the Katherine Barnes Mission Group and was the church's representative to the Samaritan Shelter. She also served as the secretary of the Pocomoke Woman's Club.

She is survived by her daughter Jacquelyn K. Lambro and her husband Donald of Fairfax Station, VA, her son, E.J. Killmon, Jr. and his wife Christine of Salisbury, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, followed by a graveside funeral service in the Parksley Cemetery at approximately 1:00PM. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 204 Fourth Street, Pocomoke City, MD, where a light luncheon will be served at approximately 2:00PM. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Killmon's memory to the First Baptist Church, 204 Fourth Street, Pocomoke City, MD 21851.
