NEW CASTLE, Del. - Josephine A. Daly, 73, of New Castle, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at her daughter's home in New Castle. Josephine was born on January 30, 1939 in Salisbury, MD, to the late William and Rethel Moore Davis.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband; Robert Lee Parsons, her second husband; Lloyd Victor Daly, two brothers; Wayne and Richard Davis, a sister; Mary Ellen Davis, a granddaughter; Sara Daly, two step-daughters; Victoria Bennett and Dale Lynn Nix.
She is survived by her daughter; Tammy Parsons-Bugra of New Castle, DE, two sons; Robert W. Parsons and his wife Ana of New Castle, DE and Joseph A. Daly and his wife Kim of Delmar, MD, six grandchildren; Robert Parsons, Jr., Kevin Parsons, Jeremy Eller and his wife Melissa and Shayla Daly, Megan Conner and Cathy Conner, great-grandchildren; Brendin Parsons, Brianna Parsons, Ashlyn Daly, Austin Daly and a great-granddaughter due in March, two sisters; Virginia Davis and Brenda Martin, a brother; Robert Davis, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving dog; Riley and cat; Chubby, close friends; Ken Burton, Diane LaFrance, Betty Caulfield and Becky Meadows and the wonderful Compassionate Care Hospice Family; Fran, Tia, Pastor Grant and Pastor Doug.
A funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
