OCEAN CITY, Md. - A fire broke out Friday morning just after 10 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel on 101st street in Ocean City. The general manager tells WMDT they saw smoke coming through to the cabana area, and are replacing the roof where the pool is. Above that, is where crews believe the fire started. They say flames may have ripped through the ceiling of a second floor hotel room. One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Hotel officials say they are still open for business. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
