Protecting Military And Veterans Education Benefits

WMDT 47 NEWS - Delaware Senator Tom Carper joined legislators Thursday to introduce a bill to protect military and veterans education benefits. The G.I. Bill and Tuition Assistance Program provide service members with financial aid for school. However, some schools take advantage and don't give them a quality education. This bill would ensure that federal funding from these programs are counted as federal dollars and not private dollars.
