
Parcie Donald OuttenPOCOMOKE CITY, Md. - Parcie Donald Outten, 79, of Pocomoke City, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at his residence. Born January 27, 1933 in Pocomoke City, he was a son of the late Chester J. and Myrtle M. (Brittingham) Outten. He graduated from Pocomoke High School in 1952 and was a farmer and poultry grower. He was a member of Pocomoke Elks Lodge#1624 and the Pocomoke Ruritans.
He is survived by wife, Jean Butler Outten, a son, Donald Outten, and a daughter and her husband, Becky and Mike Galeone, all of Pocomoke City, four grandchildren, Angela Jones, Jennifer Daisey, David Galeone and Cathy Holland, seven great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Orville J. Outten of Salisbury, Ronnie B. Outten of Felton and Winston Outten of Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Claude, Edward and Norris Outten and a sister, Essie Mae Bell.
A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Kerry Hinton, will be held Saturday, February 18th at 2:00 PM, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, where family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733.
